You're The Man Now Dog

SNEAKER TIME!

House of Hoops is releasing another NYC tribute sneaker - the Nike Vandal Lo NYC “Catch A Cab”.

“The shoe is all about the yellow cab with its yellow patent swoosh, yellow lacing and outsole, and yellow dots and contrast stitching. The checkers on the cab also make their presence known on the strap and bordering between the upper panels. Some other key NYC details are the statue of liberty with On/Off Duty details on the tongue, and the sockliner containing a fare guide.”

SNEAKER TIME!

The Nike Blazer Low is definitely a summertime classic, it almost looks like they were designed to compliment a pair of shorts. Nike chose to drape this particular Blazer in navy blue canvas making it lighter and more breathable. The deep blue upper with its leather accents is wrapped with a chunky white midsole that hides the signature gum outsole that the Blazer is known for. The shoes are out now for purchase. SNEAKER TIME!

Previewed here before, the Bedwin Spring/Summer 2009 Rubbersole Sneakers have been released. Of course they look a lot like the Half Cab, but nevertheless we like the outcome of the shoe. It comes in overall 4 fresh summer colorways, mixing vintage suede looks and nylon on the upper with a few subtle brand tags. The white tongue, laces and lining are a nice clean contrast to the otherwise very colorful footwear.

Budweiser x Supreme Collection

Expect the unexpected from Surpeme on the collaboration front as their upcoming capsule teams up with American beer brand Budweiser in a relatively large capsule of products this summer. The collection will arguably draw a lot of attention and throughout the preview seen here are both apparel and accessories. Apparel includes t-shirts, tank tops, button-ups while accessories will feature bucket hats, duffel bags, tote bags and snapbacks.

SNEAKER TIME!

Today we get a preview of the new Nike Air Max 90 CL “Fire Hydrant”. The sneaker comes in a white/silver/blue colorway and uses both leather and patent leather on the upper. The tongue tag features a prominent red fire hydrant logo.

SNEAKER TIME!

Later this year, the Jordan Brand will re-release one of its most popular models, the Air Jordan III “True Blue. While the whole Air Jordan III franchise has been ultimately quite popular, all this time through the various retros, the TBs have yet to see a return. The True Blue color hits are seen predominately on the midsole, lining and laceholes. A slated release date is set for August, 2009 however an early run is available now atmarqueesole.com.

SNEAKER TIME!

We have seen the Jordan I decked out in polka dots popping up at various retailers so while the Chlorophyll Polka Dot Pack isn’t a surprise it is definitely a welcome edition. The Hi and Lo come in alternating black and white colorways with the chlorophyll green dots remaining consistently placed on the toebox, eyelets and heel. Both shoes sport a white midsole and chlorophyll outsole and stitching. While the shoes are virtually identical other than cuts and colorways the embroidered heels are not the same. The lo white is emblazoned with the winged basketball logo while the hi black sports the traditional Jumpman silhouette. They are set to drop in June. Via Sneakerfiles

SNEAKER TIME!

If you are a Nike SB fan you may want t celebrate Christmas this year in June. The line of skate shoes looks to release an SB Dunk Premium, SB Dunk Mid, SB Blazer Premium, SB Tre AD, SB Classic and P-Rod II Supreme in some pretty awesome colorways. The shoes are already trickling into retailers but you can pre-order them at CSS.

SNEAKER TIME!

Beauty & Youth by United Arrows got together with Sun Deck on a summer sneaker. Fusing the upper of an Era with the sole of Espadrilles turns out to work pretty well. The upper comes in linen in several colorways. The mid-sole is a nice twist on the classic summer shoe. Look out for a release very soon.

SNEAKER TIME!

Nike decided to wrap its ever popular dunk in its own special wrapping paper. And while the shoes drop before Santa Claus comes you have to admit that they scream tis the season placed side by side while the all white patent leather evokes the thought of snow. The Patent Leather Pack comes in two colorways which are simply tweaks on the mid and outsole. One in red/white variation and the other in green/black with tongue tags to match. The  stitching blends with the color its applied to making this shoe a very understated crowd pleaser. ViaDunkbar

SNEAKER TIME!

Nike brings a new twist to its SB Dunk Mid. While the dark chocolate suede upper has the eyelets and of a Jordan 1 the predominant design elements are that of the SB Dunk Mid. It juggles a speckled grey outsole with a black midsole that is wrapped in light grey stitching and looks very clean. The construction boot laces literally tie this look together and makes this sneaker a great winter drop. Via NSB
